Frequently asked questions

Common questions about live transfers, running the platform day to day, and onboarding a new client.

Straight answers to the questions agency owners ask most when running Myra for their clients. For live-transfer-specific questions, see the FAQ at the end of the Live Transfers doc.

Using the platform day to day

How does an agent answer an inbound or live-transfer call?

Via the browser or desktop app, or via a cell phone if forwarding is set up. In-app, the call arrives as a notification with an answer button. If a mobile push notification opens the app without an answer button, send us a screen recording so we can investigate.

How do we know if the microphone and notification setup is right?

Settings → Team → a green "App Online" badge means the user is eligible to ring. If a client reports no ring: confirm the tab is open and refreshed today, notifications are toggled on, and the browser has microphone permission granted. Myra keeps the microphone active while the tab is open, even off-call — this is expected, and can conflict with other softphone apps holding the microphone at the same time.

Inbound calls forwarded to a personal mobile don't show the caller's name — why?

This was addressed in a recent update: inbound calls now log instantly, pin to the top of the inbox with an "Incoming call" label and the caller's name, and file into that contact's existing conversation. If you still see blind pickups, hard refresh to confirm you are on the current build.

Yes — Settings → Message templates. Each user can have their own personalised template with their own booking link, so create one per user rather than one shared template.

A client's leads aren't showing up in the pipeline even though the form was filled out — what do we check first?

Check whether the intake trigger actually fired before assuming a platform issue — most of these trace back to the source form or automation not triggering. Turn on partial submissions on every client's forms so a lead with a name, email or phone lands in the pipeline even if they abandon before the final question.

Does Myra replace Typeform?

Myra's native forms are recommended over Typeform for new clients — faster to fill out, and it removes a second monthly subscription.

Setting up a new agency or client

What's the account structure?

One agency account per agency owner, with a client account per client business underneath it. Only Myra admins can grant a new agency account; agency owners cannot self-provision one, and agency-level access alone doesn't allow handing out another full agency account to a teammate.

What do we need from a new client to set them up?

Business name and main email (this becomes the login and client account owner), whether they need existing leads migrated from another system (the default is starting from scratch), and calendar integration. If the agency is covering billing rather than the client, get their card on file via the billing portal at onboarding rather than invoicing manually each month.

Does every client need to pay for Myra separately, or can we bundle it?

You can charge clients for Myra. The recommended approach is your own payment links rather than manual invoicing each month. Some agencies bake the cost into a broader retainer so it isn't a separate line item, or offer a trial period using live transfer before asking the client to opt into paying.

What must be configured before a client goes live with live transfer?

Four things: the live-transfer preset turned on with the correct days and hours schedule; every user's notifications and microphone permissions confirmed; the preset's Business name set to the client's business (the AI greeting says it to every lead, and a duplicated preset can leave one client's leads hearing a different business's name, so always check it rather than copying a template); and a live test call end to end before telling the client it's ready.

A client's compliance rules say they can only take calls on office desk phones — can we still onboard them onto live transfer?

Set expectations carefully. The reliable paths are the app or browser, a cell phone, or the desktop app — not a physical desk phone or landline. If a client has a hard compliance requirement against computer-based calling, confirm this with them explicitly before selling live transfer.

Enterprise or high-seat-count pricing?

There is no fixed public price list for large seat counts. Get a live quote from the Myra team rather than quoting a number.
